As an Export Manager you will be responsible for sales within and outside Europe. The goal is to maintain and increase market share by acquiring new customers and distributors, and to strengthen existing relationships in order to achieve commercial objectives.

In this position you will work completely independently and take care of the commercial process and all administrative arrangements. Our customers are located in Germany, France, UK, Spain, Eastern Europe, South America and even Australia.

What will you do with us?

  • You will take care of all processing related to quotations and orders and all administrative responsibilities in the process;
  • You will set up contract agreements and manage and monitor them;
  • You will have contact with the customer regarding contract agreements, new business opportunities and informing, discussing and resolving bottlenecks;
  • Building and managing the customer portfolio;
  • You will be responsible for all international process handling (both internal and external) such as: transport and customs documents, agreeing delivery terms and conditions and issuing transport orders;
  • Functioning as a contact for customs, carriers, agencies and ensuring bookings with shipping companies (containers), LCL, Air and Road freight.

What do you bring us?

  • HBO work and thinking level;
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar position;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages in writing and orally (must – because a lot of customer communication takes place over the phone!);
  • Preferably you have a command of a second or third foreign language, such as German and/or French (pre);
  • You are commercially oriented and have experience in international B2B sales;
  • You have experience in managing the export process within international trade, including all administrative documents and processes.
